Tour Overview
This is a tour where you can enjoy Terceira Island from North to South and from East to West.
Without unraveling all the surprises in store for you, we highlight some mandatory stops on this route: Monte brasil, an extinct volcano with formation in the sea and where we have a breathtaking view over the city of Angra do Heroísmo, the fishing port of São Mateus, where we can enjoy all a still artisanal fishing and the work of fishermen, we will visit natural reserves and step on lava formations that originated true natural pools and, also, the traditional vineyards for the production of wines and liqueurs.
Pause for a lunch where you can enjoy the typical Terceira cuisine.
We continue to the center of the island, where we explore lakes, streams and caves, unique places that only the locals know, and visit Algar do Carvão.
We head to Praia da Vitória, town of Vitorino Nemésio, known for its extensive sands where we will make a short stop.
We continue to Serra do Cume, where we find one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Portugal, with an unforgettable landscape.
We will still have time to visit a church from 1455 and an empire.
Back to Angra do Heroísmo, passing through the parishes, we end up with a magnificent view of the Ilhéu das Cabras.
