Tour Overview
Imagine an island in the Atlantic ocean right in the middle of the trading routes between the Americas, Europe, and Africa, since the 1500s. Can you guess the mix of flavors you get? Here is what we propose for this tour.
Breakfast with two local pastries, coffee (or juice or water). Small walk in Angra do Heroísmo.
Cheese tasting in the oldest cheese factory in Terceira Island that includes a cheese board with bread, a glass of wine (or a local beer or juice or coffee or water)
Lunch where you can enjoy the typical Terceira Island cuisine, including “Alcatra da Terceira”. This is a typical dish of roasted beef in a clay pot made by hand by a local artisan.
Local-made ice cream stop.
And to finalize this amazing full day, nothing better than to stop at a coffee plantation to taste their coffee, liqueurs, and fruits, while sitting with a local family.
